Dottie`s Snack Bar in Quarryville

This place is making steak sandwiches great again.

Dottie's is great. They offer different varieties of subs, sandwiches, burgers, fries, ice cream and shakes. The food is really good. I normally get a burger and have yet to be disappointed. THEY ONLY EXCEPT CASH just FYI. If you choose to stay there and eat they have picnic tables outside, but no indoor seating. They are open during Spring, Summer and Fall. I would recommend checking them out!

Dottie's is a 5 star! Hands Down.

Very expensive for bad quality food, and you only get a small amount as in I got a cheeseburger sub which was mostly bread it had 1 burger on it cut into 4 pieces, the fries were very salty and dried out, just a very bad place to go I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Delicious soft-serve ice cream with very generous portions. One of those places you might say, "Hey, let's go for a drive and get cones at Dottie's!"

Good food and ice cream cheaper than Son's, and better. Friendly and prompt staff. Sometimes work a bit slow for how many customers when they are busy. I would recommend waiting though, even if they are busy. Keep in mind they only accept cash, although there is a bank within walking distance.

Sandwiches are pricey for what you get,but the deserts are great!

Awesome little rode side gem. Everything tasted fresh. Cheese stakes are the closest thing to Philly around. Milkshakes are pretty good too. All the seating is outside and they only accept cash.

Been coming here for years. However, not sure what's up...but they don't answer the phones 1/2 the time. Just got a large cheeseburger sub tonight & it was not very good! But, worst of all, the young gal short changed me & I did not realize until I got home. Gave her a $20 got pocket change back only. My fault for not noticing when it happenned. Very dissapointed with Dotties anymore. Not like it was when Bill ran it! Probably try 1 more time & see if its better. But, I have my doubts... place just is not about quality anymore.

Horrible workers. I asked for lids for my ice cream. Gives my the smallest thing they had and laughed it off with the co-workers. Then the other couldn't even get a lid that actually shut! Had to clean up my car that was covered in ice cream.

It was very good. Didnt have to wait long for our food. Excellent fries and burgers root beer floats too. Our local drive in with picnic tables.

CHEESE STEAKS ARE AMAZING AND ICE CREAM IS A WONDERFUL TREAT.

Simply put.....they don't know what they are doing. Ordered chocolate sundae...got vanilla ice cream. It was a mess. Went back up to counter...girl clearly saw it was a sundae. I asked for a refund but a girl was already filling a dish with chocolate ice cream. I told her not to add anything to it. Yet....they never offered to reimburse me the difference between a sundae and a simple soft serve. Poor business. First time and last time.

Best large subs anywhere

Fudge sundae is my Mom's favorite. Ice cream cones are amazing.

There food is great cheese stakes are yummy ice cream sundaes , if you haven't been there I say stop in.

They don't answer the phone it just rings until you get cut off or it's busy I know they are busy but they need to be more respectful of their customer's

Great food, family oriented, CASH ONLY. So no credit or debit cards. Lots of people sitting at picnic tables and kids all playing with each other.

Siad was open but truly closed did not look good and lied. Do not trust this place tells lies . Try his place is a true thumbs down for me . I drove a long time to go to a so called open place for it to not be open at all . I am very mad and not one bit satisfied.

Great cheese steaks, and their butterscotch sundaes are top-notch. Only wish it was open later on Fridays or Saturdays!!

Great food. Prices are a bit high but you do get plenty of food. The only problem that I see is that they only accept cash which is rather odd these days. If they get with this century and begin to accept debit/credit cards then they would see alot more of me. Heck even BB's accepts cards now. There is also no place to eat inside and the parking is often full and getting into and out of the parking lot is dangerous but its worth it. Its often hard to get out of the parking lot when the traffic is busy because its on a highway. I recommend this place over every food place within 5 miles unless you want to eat inside. Unfortunately they are closed for the season. (Close over winter). I have personally been a customer here for more than 30 years. The burgers, the French fries, cheesesteaks, milkshakes, soft ice cream and the list goes on. Just a awesome place to go!This is a family owned business. Hard to go and not find 1 of the owners there working. Great ppl. Go and enjoy some old school dining. You place your order standing outside at a window. Food is made as you order. (Definitely worth the wait). Go out back to a picnic table and enjoy!

Ive worked there for years they are like family there , its very Fast pace and cooked to order , the subs are amazing. We have the best cheese steaks around !! You get more than what you paid for.

I have had dotties quite literally all my life. Their portions are great and their food is good. We have a large family so we usually get 2 cheesesteaks 2 subs and a large fry. They are cash only and there is only outdoor dining cause the building is small and theyre closed for winter because theres no heating in the building but thats no biggie. FYI during quarantine ive only seen them open during the weekend so i dunno if thats how it is but dont get there cause google says theyre open and find they arent. Its NOT their fault that Google is incorrect.

Best cheesesteak

fries were decent but cheesesteak was barely edible. meat was dry and over salted, the cheese was literally two unmelted, room temp peices on bottom of lukewarm meat. i remember the cheese steaks being good a few years back but since then the prices went up(12 bucks for large cheese steak) and quality went down.

Dottie's is a Quarryville staple! I've been going there since as long as I can remember and I still love it to this day. I don't know what they do to the cheeseburgers and fries but they are incredible. And the milkshakes are the best thing you will ever have! It's a great summer spot as you order your food at the window and grab a picnic table outback.
